Unlayer

TokenForge
The tokenization engine.

ERC-3643 tokens, identities, claims and compliance behind a REST API your engineers already know how to use. TokenForge runs underneath every Unlayer product, and is available on its own.

Webhook

Domain language, not contract calls.

Create an issuance and get an issuance back. Follow it by webhook and reconcile it with a GET. TokenForge builds the contract call, signs it or relays your signature, and tracks it to confirmation.

  1. Create issuance
  2. Receive iss_ resource
  3. Observe webhook

The full token lifecycle.

  • Tokens

Deploy permissioned ERC-3643 suites, owned by an address you choose.

  • Identities

ONCHAINID identities, each carrying the investor’s jurisdiction.

  • Claims

Reusable ERC-735 attestations, issued and revoked through the API.

  • Issuance and redemption

Mint to and burn from eligible wallets.

  • Transfers

Holder-signed and relayed. Compliance is checked on-chain, every time.

  • Controls

Pause, freeze, forced transfer and wallet recovery, all auditable.

Compliance, composed per token.

Pick the modules a token needs and set their parameters on that token. Editing one token never changes another.

Switch modules on and off. The same transfer is checked again.

Built for production from the first schema.

  • Idempotent

Every on-chain write takes an idempotency key. Retries never duplicate effects.

  • Durable

Executions survive restarts and resume where they stopped.

  • Stable errors

Structured failure codes, never raw Solidity reverts.

  • Signed webhooks

HMAC-signed deliveries, delivery logs, resend, and secret rotation without downtime.

  • Isolated

Tenant scope in every key and a complete audit trail.

  • Non-custodial

No customer or investor keys. System agents hold only the roles you assign.

Questions, answered.

  • What is TokenForge?

The tokenization engine behind every Unlayer product, also available on its own: a REST API to issue and operate ERC-3643 permissioned security tokens, with identities, claims and compliance.

  • What is ERC-3643?

An open standard for permissioned tokens, built for securities. Each holder has an on-chain identity (ONCHAINID) carrying verified claims, and compliance modules check every transfer before it settles.

  • Which compliance rules can a token enforce?

Country allow and restrict lists, a maximum balance per investor, a supply limit, conditional transfers that need approval, and transfer fees. Modules are set per token, so editing one token never changes another.

  • Does TokenForge hold keys or investor data?

No. It holds no customer or investor keys, and system agents hold only the roles you assign. People, KYC evidence and eligibility stay in your systems; TokenForge executes the on-chain operations they lead to.

  • How do I get access?

Request API access and tell us what you are building. We’ll set up a sandbox.
